What you should know about barriers
Barrier material is used in many places to prevent accidents and to protect both those performing the work and those around.
It is used, for example,
- In traffic in connection with road work and maintenance of infrastructure
- At construction sites
- In the industry
- In the warehouse
- At larger events and gatherings
Barrier products are used to block off areas and to prevent accidents and mishaps. For example, falls, vehicle collisions during road work, work at heights on construction sites, etc.
It can also be used within the industrial sector to prevent accidents around larger industrial machines or at the many warehouses around the country, where large quantities of goods are transported daily for shipping, etc.
At larger gatherings or events, barrier equipment is also often used to ensure that everyone can move safely and securely.
For all types of barriers, it is important that they are installed properly and with minimal inconvenience to the public or the workers, and that barrier products are properly and legally approved for the purposes they are used for.
