General

Any delivery from otto schachner nordic is, unless otherwise agreed in writing, made in accordance with the sales and delivery terms below.


Force Majeure

Force majeure, which relieves otto schachner nordic from liability, includes, among other things, the following conditions at otto schachner nordic or its subcontractors:

War and state of emergency, strike, lockout, natural disasters, supply failures, fire, import and export bans, currency restrictions, and production stoppages, IT or infrastructure failures due to an external cyber attack.

Prices

All prices are excluding VAT.

otto schachner nordic reserves the right to change prices without prior notice due to changes in exchange rates, customs, duties, taxes, raw material prices, etc.

Some items are procurement items, where delivery time must be expected. Back-ordered procurement items are delivered carriage paid.

Legal duties on packaging, batteries, PVC, and phthalates will appear separately as invoice lines, following the individual taxed products.

Our sales department is happy to provide more information about the individual taxed products.

Returns

Goods are only accepted for return after prior agreement with the sales department or the local sales consultant.

It is a condition that the goods are returned in original and undamaged packaging, purchased within the last 3 months, and are stockable and salable.

The goods must be addressed to our address, shipped carriage paid, with a copy of the invoice and a return slip issued by otto schachner nordic.

Procurement items and special items are not accepted for return.

To partially cover shipping costs, a minimum of 20% of the invoice amount will be charged.

For cost reasons, returns with a total value under DKK 100.00 excluding VAT will not be credited.

The buyer is not entitled to offset against otto schachner nordic.

Complaints

It is the buyer's responsibility to examine the goods/delivery upon receipt. Any complaints about defects and deficiencies must be received by otto schachner nordic no later than 8 days after delivery.

When making a complaint about products within the warranty period, a copy of the purchase invoice must be sent along with all returned goods.

If a copy of the invoice is not attached and not sent within 5 days, the goods will be returned to the buyer.

Warranty Period

otto schachner nordic commits to remedy defective goods due to errors in design, material, or manufacturing within a period of 12 months from the invoice date.

This remedy is carried out at otto schachner nordic’s discretion by repair or replacement.

otto schachner nordic is also entitled, as an alternative to repair or replacement, to issue a credit note to the buyer, covering the original purchase price of the delivered goods to fulfill the seller's defect remedy obligation.

Product Liability

otto schachner nordic is covered by product liability insurance with a maximum coverage for property damage and personal injury of DKK 10,000,000.00.

otto schachner nordic is responsible for product liability according to the rules in the Product Liability Act.

Payment

The entire invoice amount is due for payment within 14 days net, unless otherwise specified in writing.

If payment is not made on time, interest will accrue at 2% per commenced month.

Delivery

Delivery in Denmark: EXW Fredericia (Incoterms 2020)

Shipping fee: DKK 75.00 for purchases under DKK 500.00 net.
